Help us save our 1856 church!

The church of St. Alphonsus and Columba was built in 1856. Unfortunately, because it is exposed to the wind and rain on Killiney Hill, it is suffering from a serious water-ingress problem

Welcome to the parish of Ballybrack-Killiney, which is grouped with the parish of Loughlinstown. There are 3 churches in the parish of Ballybrack-Killiney, St. Alphonsus & Columba at Church Avenue, and the Church of the Apostles at Willow Vale, and St. Stephen’s in Killiney on Killiney Hill Road opposite Holy Trinity Church of Ireland church. And we have two parish offices, one attached to the Church of the Apostles, and one at the Parochial House beside St. Alphonsus & Columba. We have over 120 ministers and volunteers, all Garda-vetted, and we have trained teams of catechists to provide baptism courses for parents and godparents and, in collaboration with our schools, sacramental preparation for our children. Since much of Loughlinstown parish is in Ballybrack, many Loughlinstown parishioners come to the Ballybrack churches for weddings, baptisms, and funerals and we have joint Pastoral Council meetings and social events for both parishes.
