SIXTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 13th February 2022

It is all too easy to trust in our own possessions - and the more we have the easier it is. But they are all temporary. If we put our trust in the Resurrection and live in its spirit then we shall inherit eternal life.

Sunday Missalette 6th February 2022

FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 6th February 2022

God in Christ chooses his apostles, men whom the world would think weak, maybe unsuitable, these are the ones he wants for himself. We are all called by God even though we may feel unworthy in his sight. That in itself is a sign of God’s grace: it is the way to his kingdom.

Sunday Missalette 30th January 2022

FOURTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 30th January 2022

Jesus found much rejection of his message, especially in his own town.
The follower of Jesus will find rejection and even mockery of his message. Those who work for goodness and for justice will experience persecution for their faith and action. We pray to be true to our calling in this gospel.

Sunday Missalette 23rd January 2022

THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME 23rd January 2022

Sunday of the Word of God. Catholic Schools Week

Jesus preached with power that the kingdom of God has come. This kingdom is seen, not in prestige and wealth, but in justice, peace, reconciliation and love. The gospel invites us to share in working for that kingdom.

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, KING OF THE UNIVERSE 21st November 2021

Jesus’ kingship is the kingship of one who is dedicated to his Father. He lives and dies for the truth. In his death and resurrection he is enthroned in the glory of his Father. This is the kingship we celebrate: one who has passed through the worst of human life to a life and joy that is eternal.
